Of Italian descent with Catholic and Jewish blood in his veins. In 1993, the outsider and dreamer left Møn for Copenhagen, got his high school diploma from Det frie Gymnasium in Birkerød, Denmark, with theater at a high level. After this, Lago entered the Copenhagen dance/techno scene as an enthusiastic and expressive dancer. Hooked on dancing, Lago goes to London, United Kingdom to dance modern and contemporary dance at Covent Garden. Goes back to Copenhagen and releases the album Gigolo Callboy on Helicopter Records. Lago transforms himself into a disciple in Hotel Proforma's show Jesus Christ Odd Size in Nikolaj – Copenhagen Contemporary Art Center, Denmark. In the context of performance and theater, Lago has also worked with Gritt Uldall-Jessen, i.e. in Hooked Again, for which Lago produced the sound, and in the play Nika is Dead, in which he plays the role of Tadzio opposite Signa Sørensen. Both shows took place during the Junge Hunde Festival in Kanonhallen, Copenhagen. As for his musical career, Lago has played at Wibe Bar (London) and in Copenhagen at Vega, Rust, Loppen, Stengade, Level Cph., Hornsleth Lounge, Glyptoteket, and during Halfmachine in Den Grå Hal. He has also performed in a series of galleries as performer, singer, and entertainer, for instance at Gallery Christina Wilson and V1, both in Copenhagen. In June 2004, Lago released his second album, Voyeur, on Helicopter Records. Furthermore, Lago appeared as a guest soloist with Geeza at this year's Roskilde Festival.
