SHIVA FARAHMAND
Born in Iran. Lives in Denmark, and works internationally

Approximately thirteen years ago, my family fled from the Islamic regime in Iran. We fled from a dictatorial society run by a bunch of fascist mullahs whose Islamistic worldview made/make life a living hell for those people, who search for freedom and democracy. As a young person, I chose the Marxist way of thinking and have since then been active in the political field, working in different Danish-based organizations as well as a left-wing Iranian opposition party. Concurrent with my political work, I have also studied medicine and presently work as a doctor.
